The Student Affairs Department is a non-teaching department that handles students’ welfare matters.
The Department is generally responsible for National Youth Service Corps Mobilization, Students’ Accommodation, Students’ Organizations, Students’ Union Government (SUG) activities, Orientation Programme for Fresh Students and other ancillary matters relating to the welfare of students. The Department serves as a link between the students and the university. No student graduates from the university without passing through the Student Affairs Department. The Department is open to cater for all issues bordering academic, social, physical, psychological and entire welfare of the students. The Student Affairs Department is established to attend to the welfare of the students of Nnamdi Azikiwe University and to ensure successful and fruitful stay on campus.
