Ilozue Perpetua Ngozi

Deputy Registrar II,  Students’ Affairs.

Ilozue Perpetua Ngozi is an experienced university administrator currently serving as Deputy Registrar II in the Students’ Affairs Department (Hostel Management) at Nnamdi Azikiwe University. She holds a B.Sc. degree and a Diploma in Computer Operations, bringing a strong combination of administrative expertise and ICT proficiency to her role.

She previously served as a Faculty Administrative Officer (FAO) in the Faculty of Environmental Sciences, where she gained valuable experience in academic administration, coordination, and institutional operations. In her current capacity, she oversees hostel management, ensuring efficient allocation of accommodation, proper maintenance of facilities, and the provision of a safe and conducive living environment for students. She is known for her commitment to effective service delivery, organization, and student-centered administration.

  • Providing administrative leadership and coordination for operations within Zone A Hostel to ensure efficiency and effective service delivery.
  • Overseeing and promoting the welfare of students within Zone A Hostel by addressing concerns, supporting well-being, and ensuring compliance with hostel regulations.

  • Emergency Sickbay Support System
    Establishment of a functional sickbay within the hostel to provide immediate response and basic care during health emergencies, ensuring prompt attention and improved student safety.
  • Enhanced Sanitation Infrastructure
    Provision of additional waste bins across hostel areas to promote proper waste disposal, improve hygiene standards, and maintain a cleaner living environment for students.

Ugbaja, Chinyere Nwando

Deputy Registrar II,  Students’ Affairs.

Lady Chinyere Nwando Ugbaja is a seasoned administrative professional serving as Deputy Registrar II in the Students’ Affairs Unit (Awka Campus) at Nnamdi Azikiwe University. She plays a key role in student administration and welfare coordination, contributing to the effective delivery of student support services within the University system.

She holds a strong academic and professional background in public administration and secretarial studies, including a Master of Public Administration (M.PA), Postgraduate Diploma in Public Administration (PGD), Higher National Diploma (HND) in Secretarial Studies, and Ordinary National Diploma (OND) in Secretarial Studies. She is currently pursuing a Ph.D. (in view), reflecting her continuous commitment to academic advancement and professional development.

Lady Ugbaja is widely recognized for her administrative competence, organizational skills, and dedication to student-centered service delivery. Through her work in Students’ Affairs, she supports the coordination of student welfare activities, ensures efficient administrative processes, and contributes to creating a structured and supportive environment for students.

  • Providing administrative coordination and supervision of all operational activities within NAU Hostel Zone B to ensure efficiency, orderliness, and effective service delivery.
  • Managing records, compliance, and day-to-day hostel administrative functions within Zone B to support proper allocation, smooth operations, and a conducive living environment for students.

    Implementation of improved student support structures through welfare initiatives, orientation, and sensitization programmes designed to enhance student well-being, awareness, and overall hostel experience.

    Introduction of improved maintenance and facility management systems alongside strengthened safety and security measures, supported by enhanced communication and stakeholder engagement to ensure efficient and well-coordinated hostel operations.
