  1. Admission Process

Admission into the University is strictly based on merit and approved guidelines. Candidates are admitted through UTME and Direct Entry, followed by screening exercises where applicable.

Key Steps in the Admission Process:

  • Obtain and sit for the UTME or Direct Entry (DE) examination
  • Select Nnamdi Azikiwe University as first choice institution
  • Meet the required cut-off mark and departmental requirements
  • Participate in the Post-UTME/Screening exercise where applicable
  • Upload O’Level results on JAMB CAPS
  • Monitor admission status via the JAMB CAPS and University portal
  • Print admission letter upon successful admission

Admission is strictly competitive and merit-based

General Admission Requirements

  • Minimum of five (5) O’Level credits, including English Language and Mathematics (in not more than two sittings)
  • Valid UTME/DE qualification
  • Appropriate subject combination for chosen course
  • JAMB registration and institutional compliance
  • Age requirement (usually 16 years and above) for admission eligibility
